The Restoration Trust is commissioning a Business Plan for the national roll out of our Change Minds programme

Are you a Business Planning Consultant who works with social enterprises and social entrepreneurs? Do you understand the worlds of charities and local authorities? Perhaps you know about creative health and heritage?

The Restoration Trust is commissioning a Business Plan for the national roll out of our Change Minds programme.  This will be based on the Change Minds Hub developed as part of the Lottery-funded Scaling Up Change Minds Project.

Change Minds is a unique heritage, creative and wellbeing project engaging those living with mental health problems. It is run by a partnership between the Restoration Trust and Norfolk Record Office.

Participants use historical archives to research and develop creative responses to the lives of asylum patients in the past, developing a deeper understanding of their own experience along the way.

Each Change Minds project is based on partnership between an archive service and a local mental health provider, supported by the expertise of the Change Minds Hub. This ensures that this richly rewarding experience is open to those who will benefit the most.

The Change Minds Hub provides services to Change Minds project running across the UK.   The Hub includes a website which contains:

  • Information on Change Minds and its impact
  • Instructions for setting up a local Change Minds partnership to run a project
  • Detailed instructions on running a Change Minds project:  enrolment and recruitment procedures, risk assessments, workshop plans and resources, evaluation questionnaires etc. (password protected)

The Business Planner will work closely with the Change Minds Hub principals at the Restoration Trust and Norfolk Record Office to deliver this core output of the Scaling Up Change Minds project.
